“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily. -Zig Ziglar

This may seem like a funny comparison(motivation and bathing), but at its core it is absolutely relevant. Just like the clean smells of soap, shampoo and body wash fade within a day of showering, so does motivation if we don’t re-apply it into our minds. In order to stay built upIMG_7091 and put ourselves in the best situation for success it is imperative that we actively pursue inspiration. This day in age there is absolutely no excuse to be under-motivated and under-inspired. The amount of resources we have at our disposal today is exponentially greater and easier to get ahold of than my parents generations. One of the best advice I have gotten in the last year is to “Invest In Myself” at whatever the cost. I have made it a hobby of mine to continue my education by purchasing or taking advantage of free books, audio recordings, audio books, podcasts, webinars, seminars and videos that will enrich my life mentally, physically and spiritually. If we go through life without an active pursuit of inspiration, we will find ourselves either stagnant or taking steps backwards away from our goals. Here are a few suggestions to find some inspiration today.

Read self help, positive psychology and sports psychology books. If you are a business man, read about Richard Bronson, Warren Buffett, Robert Kiyosaki. If you want to be happier and improve your attitude, read books by Zig Ziglar, Shawn Achor or John wooden. If you are an athlete, read biographies of other great athletes or sports psychology books. My favorite sports psychology book of all time is How Champions Think by Dr. Bob Rotella. There are countless hours of motivation on Youtube; a few of my favorites are Zig Ziglar, Tony Robbins, Pastor David Crank and Shawn Achor. The good thing about it being 2015 is that if you want to get inspired about literally anything, all you have to do is type that anything in your Google or Youtube search bar and the resources at your disposal are extraordinary! Here are a few of my favorite resources with their respective links.
